MSME Digital Grant MADANI
Officially the Geran Digital PMKS MADANI β a matching grant administered through Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) together with MDEC, created to help Malaysian micro, small and medium businesses adopt digital tools.
Matching Grant
The grant matches half of your eligible digitalisation spending. You pay your half; the grant covers the rest.
Maximum Amount
Up to RM5,000 per eligible business β a one-time grant, so it's worth using it on something that keeps working every day.

The requirements
Your business must beβ¦
- β Registered with SSM (or relevant local authority/professional body) β Sdn Bhd, Enterprise, sole proprietor and partnership all qualify
- β At least 60% Malaysian-owned
- β Operating for at least 6 months
- β MSME-sized under the official SME definition (micro, small or medium β most family businesses qualify)
- β Holding a business bank account in the company's name
- β First time β hasn't received this grant before (one grant per business)

Bigger grants are coming
MDAG-AI β the Malaysia Digital Acceleration Grant for AI β reimburses up to 70% of project cost (capped at RM2 million) for qualifying AI adoption. As of 2026 its rollout is phased and SME access hasn't fully opened yet. We monitor it β ask us during your audit and we'll tell you honestly what your company can and cannot get today.

Common questions
My business is a small Enterprise (not Sdn Bhd). Can I still get the grant?
Yes β for the MSME Digital Grant MADANI, any SSM-registered business qualifies, including Enterprise, sole proprietorship and partnership, as long as the other requirements are met.
Is the grant paid to me in cash?
No β it's a matching subsidy on your digitalisation invoice. You pay your share, and the grant portion is disbursed for the approved solution.
Can I use it for any project?
The solution must fall under approved digitalisation categories and be supplied through an MDEC-registered provider. That's part of what we check for you in the audit.
